Rachel brings a diverse background in counseling, higher education, and leadership to her work. Prior to founding her current practice, she gained experience across clinical, academic, and community settings, including roles in mental health group practice, student advisement, and career development. She also worked at Montclair State University’s LGBTQ Center, where she developed safe space education, engaged in community outreach and advocacy, and provided individual and group counseling to students. Her work was recognized with the Trailblazer Pride Award for her impact and leadership within the LGBTQ+ community.

In addition to her clinical experience, Rachel has held senior leadership roles in higher education, including positions at Fordham Gabelli School of Business and Columbia Business School. Her work has included building and leading advising teams, developing strategic initiatives, and supporting student success and faculty development. She has also collaborated on the implementation of large-scale systems to support learning, retention, and program effectiveness.

Rachel’s early professional experience includes leadership and training roles with Starbucks Coffee Company, where she developed skills in team development, operations, and organizational management. She holds an M.A. in Counseling from Montclair State University and a B.S. in Culture and Communications from New York University, along with additional graduate-level coursework in clinical psychology and organizational leadership.
