Governing the Collective
The Board of the New Jersey Therapist Collective serves as a steward of the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term sustainability. Grounded in collaboration and shared values, the board works to support the growth of a connected, ethical, and inclusive professional community.

Board members are responsible for guiding strategic direction, maintaining organizational integrity, and ensuring that the Collective remains responsive to the evolving needs of its members and the communities they serve. Leadership is approached with transparency, accountability, and a commitment to thoughtful, values-based decision-making.

At its core, the board exists in service to the Collective. We view leadership as a collaborative process and welcome input, feedback, and participation from our members. As the NJTC continues to grow, we remain committed to fostering opportunities for connection, contribution, and shared leadership across our community.
The Foundation of Our Collective
The New Jersey Therapist Collective is built on the belief that therapists thrive when they are connected, supported, and engaged in meaningful professional community. Our foundation is collaboration over competition, ethical practice, continued learning, and respect for the autonomy of private practitioners.

We are here to create a space where clinicians can grow, share resources, strengthen their work, and feel less alone in private practice. As the Collective evolves, these values guide the way we gather, lead, learn, and support one another across New Jersey.
